Hey Scots! Auditions for Highland's fall musical, The Lightning Thief, start today, with singing auditions after school from 4-6:30pmafter school in room 8C, dancing auditions tomorrow, August 26^th from 4-6:30pm after school in the WAH, and acting auditions on Thursday August 27^th from 4-6:30pm in room 8C! Please come all 3 days! This is your chance to shine and be a part of one of the best theatre programs in the district! See Mr. Thompson in room 8C for more information!

• Scots!  The PLAID store is open and up and running!  If you would like to redeem your points for some PLAID swag, go to your StudentVue account and click on MTSS.  Once there, this will show how many points you have and from whom and you will be able to see the store, what products are available, and how many points they cost.  Once you have selected your items, your product will be delivered to your 2^nd-period class within a few days.  If you need help or have questions, stop by 4I to see mbs!  Be sure to PLAID Up this year!

• Attention Scots! The Boys & Girls Club will be back this year to recruit students interested in the Career Readiness Program where you will practice and prepare for the job field. Students who complete the 11-week program will have the opportunity to interview for a summer paid internship. Recruitment will begin on Wednesday, August 26^th at 8am in front of the admin building so stop by to sign up! 

• Scots! We are having After School Art Tutoring today August 25th from 3:53 pm - 5:15 pm. We will be tutoring weekly on Tuesday's, Wednesday's, & Thursdays in rooms 8A, 8B, and 7H.

• Interested in science, engineering, experiments, or just figuring out how things work? Join us for the first STEM Club meeting at lunch on Wednesday in Room 12B to learn about hands-on activities, scientific exploration, and the opportunity to design your own science fair experiment. No experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity

Scots! Boys wrestling practice starts today, August 25^th 4:10 pm – 6:30 pm and will be held every Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. Whether you’re a returning wrestler or interested in joining the Boys Highland Wrestling family, come ready to WORK, LEARN, and COMPETE! IMPORTANT: All athletes MUST be cleared on SportsNet before participating in practice.

• Love art? Want to get involved? The Art Club is having its very first meeting this Wednesday, August 26th, during lunch in Room 8A. This is an important meeting you do not want to miss! We will be: Electing our new club officers. Selecting our official design submissions for Via Arte! Anyone can join no experience required. Bring your lunch, your creativity, and your vote. See you there!
