Announcements:

  • Seniors, we need to hear from you about your post-high school plans and if you have been honored with awards or scholarships.  We tried to collect this information on Monday but as you know many seniors were absent.  The Presentation that we did is posted on your CANVAS Class of 2026 page and students can see the whole presentation and all the links on the flier that has been put in all senior English and Government/Econ classrooms-this has a QR code for the presentation (in the pink memo area).  We have also added the QR to School Links, our transcript delivery program.  If you are going to a College/University next year, have a military recruiter, athletic recruiter, future employer who needs a transcript you will need to request the transcript as soon as possible.  They will be mailed out by June 15th.  All the information regarding caps/gowns, senior finals dates, senior checkout, graduation practice, graduation tickets, and graduation practice. (it is all in the presentation so check it out ASAP).

  • Do you or your parents have a little side business and looking for a chance to promote it and make a little cash? Sign-Up to become a vendor at Highland FFA’s Scotsmen Market on Saturday May 9th, 7am-2pm! Scan the QR code on Highland FFA Instagram page and make sure to attend the mandatory lunch meeting in 12A on Wednesday May 6th! Student vendors are welcome to participate at no cost, while outside vendors are kindly asked to contribute a $50 donation in support of Highland FFA.

  • AP TEST TAKERS - It begins on Monday!  The AP Testing season is upon us.  Be sure to bring your ID card with you to the exam.  SYNERGY PICTURE WILL NOT WORK!!!!  You must have either a school ID or a driver's license.  The College Board insists that proctors confirm each person who is testing.  You still have time to get your ID card if you've lost it.  Other things to bring when you arrive on time to your testing room are pens, pencils, and the knowledge of your College Board password.  It's game time, Scots - let's do this!

  • Hey Scots! Are you interested in being a part of the top Drama department in the district? Are you interested in doing fun and exciting things on and off the stage? Did you see Mean Girls or Hadestown town and wish you could be a part of something that amazing? Well, here is your chance! Auditions for next year's Advanced Drama class are happening now! See Mr. Thompson in room 8C for access to the audition form! Don't miss this chance to change your life and be a part of something amazing! Everyone is welcome to audition!

  • Are you taking AP test and looking for extra study resources and practice tests, come to tutoring this week and next week!

  • Juniors and Seniors - This is the last week! Prom bids are now on sale in the Finance Office for $70 with StudentVue and $65 with a student ID card before school, lunch or after school.
