• Scots, if you received a call slip for the PLUS Student Forum, reminder that the forum is being held on Wednesday April 29^th during 2^nd & 3^rd period. Please report to the library on Wednesday at the beginning of 2nd. 

• AP Test Takers - Exams start next week!  Make sure you know the date and location of your test as well as your College Board log-in information.  For the 8 am tests, plan to be at the room by 7:45. For the 12 pm tests, tell your 3^rdperiod teacher you need to leave at 11:30 to go eat lunch and be at the room by 12 pm.  You got this Scots!

• The Kern High Film Festival is happening today, April 28, at the Fox Theater, located at 2001 H St. This event will showcase the amazing work from the Video Production Program here at Highland, as they compete against other high schools across Kern County! Doors Open: 5:00 PM the video montage begins at 5:15 PM – 6:00 PM. The program starts at 6:00 PM. Come out and enjoy some awesome short films while supporting our classmates and friends!

Juniors and Seniors - This is the last week! Prom bids are now on sale in the Finance Office for $70 with StudentVue and $65 with a student ID card before school, lunch or after school. You MUST have a signed permission slip, available in the Dean's Office and turned into the Dean's Office prior to purchasing. Non-HHS guests must get an additional Guest form completed and turned in. All debt must be cleared before you can purchase your ticket. Do not wait until the last minute. The last day to purchase bids is April 29th after school. No
