- Hey Scots! Continuing tonight, the Highland Theatre Department brings the Tony Award–winning musical Hadestown to our very own stage. This bold and visually stunning production reimagines the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice, weaving together a powerful story of love, hope, and sacrifice through unforgettable music and storytelling. Set in a haunting, industrial world inspired by American folk and jazz traditions, the show follows a young dreamer who journeys to the underworld in an attempt to change fate itself. Featuring some of the best talent Highland has to offer, innovative staging and choreography, stunning vocals and music that will stay with you long after the curtain falls, and scenery and lights that will leave you in awe, this is a theatrical experience you won’t want to miss. Join us and see why Hadestownhas captivated audiences around the world. The show continues tonight, April 23rd at 7pm. Doors open at 6:30pm and admission is $10 at the door.
