Announcements:

• Scots! If you applied for next year's ASB, the results will be posted on the window of the Activities Office after the Spring Fest rally. Congratulations to our next year's ASB! 

• Scots! Prom Royalty nominations are now open. Please nominate up to two JUNIORS and two SENIORS for this year's Prom Royalty court.  Nominees must be present at prom on May 2^ndto win.  Nominations will close Friday afternoon. Only Highland students may nominate and you MUST be logged into your KHSD account! https://forms.gle/k8EK3Snp3dNKUeAUA

• Juniors and Seniors - Prom bids are now on sale in the Finance Office for $70 with StudentVue and $65 with a student ID card before school, lunch or after school. You MUST have a signed permission slip, available in the Dean's Office and turned into the Dean's Office prior to purchasing. Non-HHS guests must get an additional Guest form completed and turned in. All debt must be cleared before you can purchase your ticket. Do not wait until the last minute. The last day to purchase bids is April 29th after school. No exceptions!

• Hey, Hey Scots!  Who loves Wienerschnitzel?!  Who loves it when it's free?! Be sure to attend the rally on Friday to get your free $5 gift card for Wienerschnitzel - effective for use Monday, April 20th! See you at the rally!

• Seniors! Cap and gowns will be available for pick up this Friday during lunch by the Finance Office.  If you ordered on-line or on campus, they will be distributed this Friday.  If you are absent Friday, you can pick them up in the Activities Office the next week before school, lunch and after school with your ID.  Congrats!

• Hey Scots! Tonight, the Highland Theatre Department brings the Tony Award–winning musical Hadestown to our very own stage. This bold and visually stunning production reimagines the ancient Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice, weaving together a powerful story of love, hope, and sacrifice through unforgettable music and storytelling. Set in a haunting, industrial world inspired by American folk and jazz traditions, the show follows a young dreamer who journeys to the underworld in an attempt to change fate itself. Featuring some of the best talent Highland has to offer, innovative staging and choreography, stunning vocals and music that will stay with you long after the curtain falls, and scenery and lights that will leave you in awe, this is a theatrical experience you won’t want to miss. Join us and see why Hadestownhas captivated audiences around the world. The show opens tonight, Friday, April 17^th at 7pm. Doors open at 6:30pm and admission is $10 at the door. Additional dates for the show are April 18th, April 23rd, April 24th, and April 25th, all at 7pm. We have a special guest coming to the show on April 23rd!
