Announcements:

• Hey Scots, its PLAID Week! Today, we are highlighting PRIDE. Show your Scots pride at lunch in the quad at the PLAID table for a chance to win a 5-point PLAID token!

• Scots! It's that time of year again!  Our second blood drive of the year is March 13^thand blood drive permission slips are now available in the Activities Office!  Students who are 16 years or older are eligible to donate with a signed permission slip. Permission slips are due March 11th!

• Seniors! Time is running out to purchase your Grad Nite ticket!  The last day to purchase your ticket is March 13^thby 4:05pm! Be sure you have your signed permission slip - available in the Activities Office.  

Club News:

• After a full weekend of wrestling in the state championships, the girls wrestling team finish 17^thin the state. Janali Gonzales finished one match out of placing and ended up being top 12 in the entire state of California. Briana Alvarado wrapped up her wrestling career at highland by Placing 7th in the state and becoming Highland high school's first ever boy or girl in any sport to place 4 times in state. She has truly set the bar high. Congratulations to all the girls that wrestled this weekend. History was made! 

• Congrats to Andrew Nielsen for placing in the top ten for Varsity in last week's Chess Tournament at Stockdale High School!

• Do you know a senior who's letting senioritis get the best of them? Are you a senior who is letting senioritis get the best of them? Send a cheerful note to your favorite senior or seniors this week with the class of 2026 Senioritis grams! Today through Wednesday they will be on sale in the quad for one dollar. On Thursday, stop into Mrs. Hertzog's room to purchase. You will need to know your senior's second or sixth period so that our squad can deliver them Friday!
