• Scots!  Do you want to make a difference on campus next year? Do you want to help plan the rallies, school wide activities, and learn what service leadership is about?  ASB just might just be for you!  ASB applications - for both elected and appointed are available in the Activities Office starting Wednesday, February 25th.  Applications are due March 18th!

• Good morning, Scots! This week we’re celebrating FFA Week in honor of the National FFA Organization and the leadership, service, and agricultural education it represents. Here’s a look at the exciting events we have planned for the week! Ag Fact of the Day: Did you know that agriculture is the largest employer in the world? It provides jobs for more than 1 billion people globally, from farming and ranching to food production and distribution!

• Come celebrate FFA Week with us on Tuesday for some Lunchtime Trivia! Bring your friends, test your FFA knowledge, and have a blast celebrating FFA Week. Everyone is welcome!"

• Attention all freshmen and Scots! Please join us on Tuesday, February 24^thfor a Balloon Cup game! There will be lots of fun and prizes available. Open to everyone — but freshmen get extra special prizes for participating! We will also be having a Freeze Dance and Guess that Song Challenge on Friday, February 27th! All events will take place in the quad area. Hope to see you there!

Club News:

• Hey Scot's let's give the girls wrestling team a big congratulations on placing 2^ndin the entire central Section and qualifying 6 wrestlers to the state tournament, this is the most qualifiers the girls have ever had. Steph Martinez Nayeli Nunez and Briana Alvarado will be representing highland along with Janali Gonzalez, Julissa Gonzalez, and Tiffany Torres who ended up winning the entire tournament individually. Congratulations ladies and good luck at State! 

• This Tuesday, come to room 2B for a Club America Meeting! Can't wait to see you!

• Please join Creative Writing Club in a letter writing campaign going on for first responders this semester. Our first batch of letters will be focused on nurses, and we are working with a few local organizations to get any letters collected to local hospital staff. Please submit handwritten letters to Ms. Chapa in 3B.  If you need any ideas on what to write, please stop by our club meetings on Thursday at lunch in 3B! 

• If you missed out on club rush #1 and #2 no fear the Chess club is here! Chess club meets during lunch in room 5C. It’s never too late to join
