- Scots! Today’s Black History Month Fact: Phillis Wheatley was the first African American to publish a book of poetry titled "Poems on Various Subjects, Religious and Moral", in 1773. Born in Gambia in 1753 and sold to the Wheatley family in Boston when she was 7 years old, Wheatley was emancipatedshortly after her book was released at the age of 21.
- Who do you go to with questions about your schedule? Who gives you advice on what to do after you graduate? Having a tough day? Who do you talk to? If you answered your counselor, you are correct! This week is National Counselor Appreciation Week! Be sure to thank them or give them a high five for all that they do for all our students!
- AP Students - AP tests are still available with a $40 late fee (except for the government exam) but you must get your payment into the finance office by February 20th. If you opted for the split payment plan, the remainder is due by February 20th. If you paid $20 per test, you are done and don't owe any more money.
- Seniors! Your Class of 2026 shirts are on sale NOW for $5 each. You are limited to 3 shirts for this sale. Please purchase your shirts in the finance office and come see Mrs. Tatman in 3E, Mrs. Hertzog in room 6B or Mrs. Lindsey in room 6D with your receipt to choose your style and size! Sale ends on February 10th. "
