• Scots! February is Black History Month and for today's Black History Month Fact: Jack Roosevelt Robinson was an American professional baseball player who was the first African American to play in Major League Baseball in the modern era. Robinson broke the color line when he started at first base for the Brooklyn Dodgers on April 15, 1947. Because of his contribution to baseball, his jersey number, 42, was retired across the entire league. Now, on April 15th, Jackie Robinson Day, every MLB player wears #42 in his honor. 

• Seniors! Your Class of 2026 shirts are on sale NOW for $5 each. You are limited to 3 shirts for this sale. Please purchase your shirts in the finance office and come see Mrs. Tatman in 3E, Mrs. Hertzog in room 6B or Mrs. Lindsey in room 6D with your receipt to choose your style and size! Sale ends on February 10th. "

Club News:

• Attention all Frosh Soph and JV baseball players: Starting Monday, February 2nd, mandatory practice/try-outs will be held on the JV baseball field immediately after school. Make sure to have your gear!"

• Hey Scots! Get ready to step into the underworld and sing your way back to the light! Auditions for Hadestown, the Tony Award–winning musical, start today. This powerful retelling of ancient Greek mythology blends folk, jazz, and blues with unforgettable storytelling—and we’re looking for bold performers to bring it to life onstage. Anyone and everyone are welcomed and encouraged to audition. Singing and Acting auditions will be today Tuesday, February 3rd, Dancing auditions will be tomorrow, Wednesday, February 4th, and Callback auditions will be Thursday, February 5th. They will begin at 4pm after school. Please attend all 3 days. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or ready to take a leap, this is your chance to be part of an epic, ensemble-driven production.
