Announcements:
- Seniors - Grad Night tickets are now on sale in the Finance Office! This year's Grad Night will be at Universal Studios and costs $145 which includes transportation and early access to the park on May 21st. You must have a signed permission slip - available in the Activities Office, and a current HHS ID to buy your ticket. Open to seniors only! See Ms. Barber-Smith with any questions.
- Scots! Are you still looking for a club or team to join? You're in luck! We will be having our 2ndClub Rush Day next week - Wednesday, February 4th during lunch. Come out and see what you can get involved with!
- Juniors - This is the last week to sign up for the School Day SAT. The test will be given on March 4thbut you need to sign up by this Friday. Cost is $33 (much cheaper than the weekend test) paid to the finance office. Friday is the deadline - don't miss out!
- Hey Seniors! Yes you! Jostens will be on campus Wednesday, January 28that lunch to take cap and gown orders. This will be the last time they will be on campus taking orders. You can also order online at Jostens.com.
- Hey Seniors, do you need some help with scholarships? Come to the Kern Community Foundation Scholarship Workshop on 1/29/26 at 1pm in Room 2A. You can do one application and enter for 25+ scholarships You need to register at: https://forms.gle/HJFrNkdfaKyLje4Q6 The link is in your Class of 2026 Counseling Canvas page or see Ms. Yubeta in Room 2A or s ee your counselor to get signed up for the workshop. Signups must be done by 1/28/26.

- If you're keen on joining the team, swing by Coach Matney's (6F) or Coach Dawson's (2C) classrooms for details. Don't miss our important meeting on Monday, Feb 2nd, 3:10-4:00 PM in the library. This applies to everyone, including those already in pre-season conditioning. Attendance is crucial if you want to secure a spot on the roster! Official season begins February 2nd!
- Hey Scots! Join us as Highland High School Drama proudly presents Almost, Maine, a heartfelt and whimsical play about ordinary people falling in and out of love under the glow of the northern lights. Set in a small town where nothing is quite what it seems, this tender and funny collection of stories explores the many ways love can surprise us. Don’t miss this charming evening of laughter, magic, and connection—performed by our talented students! This production opens this Thursday, January 29that 7pm in the WAH! Additional shows are Friday January 30th at 7pm, and Saturday January 31st at 2pm and 7pm. Doors open 30 minutes before the show starts, and admission is $10. We hope to see you there!
