Announcements:

 

  • If you were one of the girls that helped the teacher/chaperone, Mrs. DeLeon, up from her fall on the dance floor, please see her in room 7B. today. She would like to thank you with a small gift and needs your help.

 

  • AP students:  It's time to decide if you will take the AP exams in May.  The deadline to pay for the exam is October 25th and it will be here before you know it.  Tests are $99 or $20 if you qualify for a reduced fee.  A $40 non-refundable deposit OR a $20 non-refundable payment (if you qualify) is due by October 25th to avoid a late fee.  Payments can be made at the finance office or the on-line student store at kern.graystep.com.  Don't delay - get 'er done today!

  • Hispanic Heritage fact of the dayThe second highest mountain range in the world runs through Peru. These peaks, called the Andes, are so tall and forbidding that the ancient Inca people thought they were gods. They run from north to south and can be seen from Peru's beaches 50 miles (80 kilometers) to the west. The highest peak, Mount Huascarán, is 22,205 feet (6,768 meters) high.

 

  • Attention all softball players. Softball season is just around the corner. Please stop by classroom 7K and scan the QR code to fill out the form. In addition, remember to fill out sports net and have a physical uploaded to your account to be able to participate.
