- Have you misplaced your air pods or ear buds? Please stop by the dean’s office to see if they have been turned in.
- Good morning, Scots! Let's hit the ground running for a successful Spring semester. Stop by after school tutoring in the library on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00-5:30 p.m. On Tuesdays, you can get help in English, Science and Social Studies. On Wednesdays, we offer tutoring in math, social science, science, health, and government. On Thursdays, we offer tutoring in English, agriculture, biology, earth science, government/econ, and math. We also have a Spanish speaking instructional assistant available. Bus transportation is provided after tutoring at 5:30 p.m. NEW: We are offering Wednesday morning tutoring from 8:00-8:45 a.m. in the library this semester as well!
- State Seal of Biliteracy Testing Announcement: If you received an invitation to test for the State Seal of Biliteracy, please stop by The Title 1/ELD Office (building 4) to sign up for the test. We are testing January 24thand January 29th in the library from 9:00-12:00 p.m. This assessment is voluntary, but if you qualify, this is an opportunity for you to earn a special recognition on your diploma and be recognized for excellence in multiple languages. Please see Mrs. Montanio or Mrs. Guerra in the Title 1 office to sign up
- Seniors! You MUST purchase a cap and gown to participate in graduation. Please be sure to go to Jostens.com or Highland's website to order! Prices go up in February! See Ms. Barber-Smith with any questions!
- Scots! Formal bids are still on sale this week! The price is $70 with ASB sticker and $75 without. If you are bringing a non-Highland guest, Tuesday 1/9, is the last day you can turn in guest form to the Dean's Office for approval! Tickets will be on sale until Thursday, 1/11, at lunch! Please plan accordingly!
Club News:
- Fashion Club is having a formal attire sale this week Mon-Thurs. Come by 8A to check out what is available. Prices will range from $5.00 or less.
- Inviting all Scots! All club members, staff, athletic clubs, and Highland students. Please join the "Clean & Green Club" on Wednesday, January 10, for our next "Great Campus Clean-Up." We will meet in Room 16D at 4:00 PM, clean up/beautify our beloved campus, then enjoy some pizza around 4:45 PM. Show your SCHOOL PRIDE and join us!
