Announcements:
- Scots! Our upcoming Attitude & Winter Sports rally is next Friday, December 15th. Leading up to the rally we will have holiday dress up days: Monday = Pajama Day, Tuesday = Twin Day, Wednesday = Favorite Color Day, Thursday = Holiday and Christmas Gear and Friday = Ugly Sweater Day. Be sure to participate!
Club News:
- Good morning, Scots! It’s time for AVID’s college of the week. This week our school is Chico State...Home to the wildcats. Fact 1 - Different competitive sports at Chico State are volleyball, water polo, and rugby for both men and women. Fact 2 - Chico State has the highest 4-year graduation rate in the CSU system. Part of that success is the 24 students to 1 faculty member ratio and the average class size is 28 students. Fact 3 - For our agricultural students there’s Chico State College of agriculture. Having 800 acres of land it's said to be like a living laboratory...with lots of resources and even more opportunities. Congratulations to AVID seniors Gracy Castillo, Parris Cook, and Aromyk Harris for all being accepted to Chico State!
- Can you please add to Friday’s announcements that Math Club will offer tutoring for Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Algebra, and Pre-Calculus students next week after school on Monday and Wednesday.
- Come Join us this Thursday for the monthly Got the Dot meeting in Room 6F during lunch. We are honored to have Lori Malkin, founder of JJ’s Legacy as our Guest Speaker. Everyone is welcome!
- Fashion Club meeting on Thursday during lunch in 8A.
- All baseball players, practice will occur this Tuesday and Wednesday at 4:00 pm this week.
- Inviting all Scots! All club members, staff, athletic clubs, and Highland students. Please join the "Clean & Green Club" on Wednesday, December 6, for our next "Great Campus Clean-Up." We will meet in Room 16D at 4:00 PM, clean up/beautify our beloved campus, then enjoy Cataldo's pizza around 4:45 PM. Show your Pride and join us
