  • Please come to the cafeteria to have Dinner right after school Monday- Friday 3:53-5:00. Also come get a Snack Monday-Friday 5:30-6:00 at the cafeteria. Looking forward to seeing you😊

 

  • Scots! Don’t forget, this weeks Football game theme is Hawaiian! So don’t forget to dress up and show that school spirit!

 

  • Attention Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors! Are you planning on attending college, a technical school, joining the military or you’re just not sure yet? Taking the ASVAB Career Exploration Test can help you understand your skills, abilities, and interests and will help you make the best decision about your future. If you are interested in taking the ASVAB test on September 29th please see Mrs. Verde in the College and Career Center located in the library to sign up.

 

  • Scots!!  ASB stickers can be purchased in the Finance Office for $25. This will save you time from waiting in line at sporting events and get you in for free! It also gives you discounts to events on campus.  You MUST have your ID to get your sticker.  

 

  • The 2022 Homecoming Court nominations are in!!!  This year's nominees for King are:  Brandon Baker, Isaiah Esparza, Treyvion Miller, and Aiden Cisneros.  Nominees for Queen are: Ava Orozco, Jocelyn Barrison, Aliya Resendez, and Tabitha Gummings! Congrats to this year's nominees and be sure to vote the week of Homecoming to see who wins!

 

  • Seniors!!! If you have not taken your senior yearbook picture yet, please contact Carlos Murillo Photography at 661-332-4170 to schedule an appointment.   The deadline to submit pictures is October 28th.  Only pictures taken by Carlos Murillo can be used in the yearbook.

 

Club News:

 

 

  • Young Women Empowered for Leadership (YWEL) will meet today during both lunches in room 16E. Please grab your lunch and head on over. Snacks will be provided.

 

  • The American Red Cross Club is hosting a coin drive next week, September 19th - 23rd! All donations will go to St. Jude’s Children Hospital. The top 3 SECOND period classes with the most donations collected will win a popsicle party!  

 

  • Are you interested in writing stories, novels, songs, or poems? If you do, then you should join the creative writing club! Stop by room 7D today during 4th lunch for our first meeting of the year!"

 

  • Hello Scots! The Spanish Honors Society will be having their first meeting of the year. This Friday, September 16 in room 15C at 8:30 am This meeting is only for current members. We will be taking nominations for this year’s executive board. We will also be discussing community service and fundraising ideas for the year. If you have any questions, please stop by Mr. Delgado’s classroom 15C or Mr. Leon’s classroom 15F. We hope to see you there!
