  • Good morning, Scots!  It’s time for AVID’s last College of the Week of this school year.  This week our school is Westmont College, located in Santa Barbara, CA.

Fact 1- Westmont belongs to the worldwide evangelical Protestant tradition. Despite this, the college welcomes students who hold a variety of religious beliefs.

Fact 2- Westmont purchased a wardrobe from C.S. Lewis' home that closely matches the famous wardrobe described in The Chronicles of Narnia. Open it for yourself in Reynolds Hall, home of the English department.

Fact 3- Westmont offers global education programs with 30 institutions throughout 6 continents. The Global Studies Fellows Program allows students to venture across the globe to learn how to live and interact in cross-cultural settings.

Congratulations to Isabella Walton and All who were accepted into Westmont College! Your hard work and determination are truly recognized!
