If you are interested in signing up for boy’s golf, please see Coach Smart in the P.E. before or after each period. You must sign up if you want to try out for the Boy’s Golf Team.

Formal bids for our Grecian Ball go on sale this Wednesday, 1/5/22! Ticket cost is $60 or $55 with an ASB sticker and can be purchased in the Finance Office before school, lunch and after school.  You must have a signed permission slip, current ID and all debts cleared to purchase a ticket.  We will be having a flash sale day on 1/18 - so stay tuned!  Last day to purchase bids is 1/21 at lunch, so please plan accordingly!!

Are Visual or Digital Arts, Social Media, Interior Design, Business, or Fashion in your future? If any of these careers interest you, join a virtual zoom meeting on Tuesday, January 18th in the library. FIDM is an internationally recognized, four-year accredited college located in Los Angeles. FIDM’s 20 creative design and business majors educate students for careers in these fields; find out which major of study might be right for you. Or just maybe you get a thrill at the idea of moving planes and people through the sky as an aviation business professional. If any of these sparks your curiosity, a career in aviation might be right for you. CAU will be on campus Thursday, January 27^th during 3^rd period. If you are interested in learning more about attending CAU please see Mrs. Verde in the library to sign-up.

Attention Scots, if you are interested in joining the track and field team please stop by coach Cueto’s room 6E Friday after school for sign ups.

Scots! Formal Court nominations are now open!  Be sure to nominate a 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grader for the Formal Court using the following link:  https://forms.gle/cxJ6s5zMTsv2W29T6.  Top students nominated will then be placed on the ballot the week of Formal.  Students must be present at formal to win!  Nomination and voting are only open to current HHS students and will close Wednesday 1/12 at noon.  Students may nominate students from any grade level. 

Students and Staff - Come by and see us on lunch this Friday on the grass area to celebrate our December Student of the Month!  If you were nominated, you will receive an invitation to attend!

Club News

Hey Highland Scots!  Esports, officially starts this week.  League of Legends will Practice Monday, Tuesday, and Friday with Matches on Wednesday.  Come by 7H and pick up an Esports Permission slip.  The League of Legends Season will run from now until Mid-March.  Overwatch practice is moved to every Thursday until the season starts.  The Season will begin in Mid-March, after the League of Legends Season has concluded.  Come by 7H and pick up an Esports Permission slip and reserve your spot today!  Visit the Highland Esports page on the Highland Website for more information. 

Attention all Art Club members! There will be a meeting Wednesday, Jan. 5^th after school in Ms. Suender's classroom, room 8B. We will be taking volunteers from art club to help with the paintings for formal. See you then!

Once again, the Clean & Green Club is hosting the "Great Campus Clean-Up" tomorrow January 5, right after school.  Please join us, students, teachers, and staff alike, to make our campus litter free and beautiful.  We will meet at Room 5E.  Go SCOTS Pride!
