Hey Scots! TODAY 3/11/20 is the last day to get your photo on the sibling page.  Stop by at lunch or after school outside room 3E.

 

The Activity Bus will leave Highland HS South Parking lot at 7pm now.  It will pick up Swimmers at Garces Memorial HS North Parking Lot at 7:30pm.  It will go on its route after that pickup.  The Activity Bus only operates on Mondays-Thursdays.

 

Seniors- Grad night tickets are NOW on sale!! Pick up a permission slip from the Activities/Athletics Office and check out our payment plan!  First payment is due in April!

 

Our next Blood Drive is March 26th. Come by the Activities/Athletics Office to pick up a permission slip!

 

FS and JV girls’ soccer players: if you did not attend the awards ceremony last week, please come pick up your participation certificate from Ms. Boyer in room 4C.

 

From the cafeteria:  Outside line by building 8 will now be by the administration office in the new café.  Staff line only will now be by the administration building. 

 

Attention all upperclassmen, there are wanted flyers around the campus in search of Flynn Rider.  If seen bring him in on May 2, 2020 at our Prom located downtown at World Record Venue.  Good Luck and happy hunting.

 

Seniors! Scholarship deadlines are approaching fast. Stop by the college and career center to pick up a list of available scholarships.

 

Attention Highland students and staff: Finally, the results you’ve all been waiting for. The winner of the February Reading Challenge is (drum roll please): Mrs. Brown’s 3rd period class.  The class read an average of 3 books per students during the month of February. For their efforts, they will get a pizza party and take possession of the reading trophy. Congratulations, and great job to all teachers and students who participated!

Calling all poets: April is National Poetry Month! Get ready to participate in the Library Club’s Open Mic Poetry events by writing an original poem or finding one to read.
