Attention Sophomores and Juniors, Ridgeview High school will be offering a Dual Enrollment Honors Geology course this summer. This class earns students Geology credit for college credit. If you are interested in signing-up, please see your counselor.

 

Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors! Are you interested in learning more about yourself and the world of work? The ASVAB Career Exploration Program can help you take steps now toward finding a career that’s right for you. If interested in taking the ASVAB please stop by the college and career center to sign-up.

 

Highland APS Booster Club is awarding eight $1,000 scholarships this year to qualifying students with a GPA of 3.2 or above. These scholarships are open to HHS graduating Seniors only. Stop by the college and career center to get more information.

 

If you received an overdue notice from your English teacher, please return your late books to the library and pay your fines at the Finance Office. Thank you!

 

Got the SAT, ASVAB, or PSAT coming up? Don’t panic! Come to the library and check out one of our super-cool study guides to help you ace your test!

 

 

Celebrate Black History Month by checking out the library’s display of amazing books by African American authors like Jaqueline Woodson, Walter Dean Myers, Langston Hughes, and Maya Angelou.

 

Have you submitted your FAFSA? If not, please visit room 2A for help. The deadline is March 2nd.  If you submit today you will get a free donut. 

 

Seniors – If you still have not ordered your cap and gown, please do so ASAP!!!  There is now a $10 late fee, but you can still order them through Jostens. Cap and gowns will be delivered in April, so don’t wait!

 

Literacy news: Friday is the last day of the February reading challenge.  Do your best to finish up that book you’ve been reading. And don’t forget: when you’re done, tell your teacher the title and give them a short plot summary so it counts towards your class total!
